Meet the Founder
Maybe I started creating Witness long before I knew what it would be called. My name is Robin Bortolin — half Czech, half Italian. I studied Public Policy, work in the food industry, make documentaries, and occasionally perform stand-up comedy.
When making my first documentary about my father, I realized something: behind every person we meet, there are dozens of decisions, victories, and moments when they helped someone else. Most of those stories never get told.
That question became Witness. I don't want another place where people compete to present the most perfect version of their lives. I want a place where real human stories have value — stories of courage, kindness, and small acts that meant everything to someone else. Because sometimes, it is enough to change one person's world.
